It's a feeling thing ...

How are you feeling?

How do you want to feel?

Both of these questions are really powerful questions and ones we should check in and ask ourselves regularly. It's something we tend to not be that intentional with, especially if we feel ok, or if things are going ok in our lives. But using this question intentionally can be a powerful way to shift things for ourselves and get ourselves in the right feeling place. 

There is gap though between these questions, that often we may find we need to bridge, as sometimes we don’t feel in the present exactly how we actually want to feel. 

Think about these questions right now and write it down or feel into it, get really clear and be honest with yourself about the gap between the two questions.

When we are thinking about how we feel, it's important to go deeper into it, from an embodiment perspective and ask how it feels in your body. 

Does it feel safe to feel that it in your body and nervous system?

Using this for both of these questions is important, especially with how we what to feel at the core of it and we may be struggling to get there because deep down it doesn’t feel good or safe in your body. 

You may find where you're currently feeling, even if its not what you want to feel it actually has a safe feeling too it, because you are so used to feeling like that. As strange as it sounds the familiar even if need not ideal can feel ok and maybe we believe thats all we deserve or we are worth. 

If we believe thats all we are worthy of feeling, then we can stay stuck in that place and this can be down to a whole number of reasons.

Worth and believing we deserve something is tied to our feelings too, and it’s important to check in with these questions. 

Again feeling into our bodies and nervous system how that worth feels, and if we don’t feel worthy deep down we won’t believe we are allowed to feel the things we actually want to feel.

Why is that? Be honest with yourself with out judgment this is the key, creating a no judgement and guilt zone for yourself around this.

Whats the story we need to identify underneath the worth, and how safe does it feel to start rewriting this story, to what we want to feel and why we are worthy of that.

This is an on going process throughout our lives, as the answers to the questions can shift and change depending on what’s going on in our lives or what we want. 

There is the importance of identifying core feelings such as peace, joy and love and having these as core foundation feelings to the basis of all the things we want to feel on top of them.

If these are at your foundations you will find you have a strong feeling core beneath you to support you on your life journey as you move though it. 

When we start to get on top of this not only do get more clarity, but we feel more empowered and in control with our co creation in life towards the things we want and how we want to feel. 

We implement it and take our power back, its continuous process but a beautiful one if we allow it to be because we are feeling our feelings, and by this I mean all of the feelings we start to choose. 

So get intentional with your feelings, connect to what you’re feeling and want to feel, and remember we can always choose again when it doesn’t feel right.

Because this is the magic of our feelings that they are the guide to tell us what the vibe is and even when something is off, and through this we can make a different choice.
